YRE is a Leadership and Community Programme
For over 30 years the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) programme, international competition and global network have been equipping and mentoring future leaders to investigate environmental issues and drive positive, solution focused change. Suitable for young people aged 11-25 in both formal and non formal education settings, the four steps of YRE provide young people with valuable life skills and knowledge to leverage media and their own voices. Through the programme these young influencers become powerful advocates within their communities, inspiring all those around them. Our young reporters for the environment are not simply inheriting a future sustainable world β they are the ones actively shaping it.
